COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK (CEF) LEVELS
One of the purposes of CENFUS is to lead the students to better standards in terms of communicative skills improvement. According to the 2007 year plan, our goal for the students is that they reach A2 level at the end of their 5th semester. However, do you know what an A2 level means? Where do these standards come from?
This is a professional tool, developed by the Council of Europe, for setting clear, attainable standards at different levels of language learning for European languages. This allows for standards to be easily comparable at an international level facilitating educational and occupational mobility.
The Framework provides a basis for the mutual recognition of language qualifications across languages and EU countries. Below is the framework:
